Voting opens 4th January 2022!


Now in their eighth year the British Bank Awards, run by Smart Money People, are widely recognised as the ultimate symbol of excellence across the banking industry, as determined by those who matter most, the customer.

Over a 13 week voting period that saw over 90,000 votes cast in 2021, the awards create fierce competition among providers to be crowned winner and be able to demonstrate to consumers, both existing and prospective, their outstanding credentials.

Since their launch the awards have been covered in an array of publications targeted at both trade and consumer including The Fintech Times, Daily Mail, The Guardian, Sunday Express, Daily Mirror and AltFi.

Award categories span the vast range of the banking sector, with specific categories for innovation, new entrants to the market, ethical providers, influencers, and many more. The British Bank Awards are run by Smart Money People, who offer a review platform focussed purely on the financial sector and provide customer insight to a wide range of organisations. Founded in 2014, Smart Money People’s mission is to help the financially active make more successful choices, and the British Bank Awards help to achieve this mission by acting as a symbol of excellence to both consumers and industry peers.


If you’re a customer looking to vote in the British Bank Awards, you can leave a review for your preferred provider on Smart Money People between the 4th January 2022 and 4th April 2022. As a customer voting in our awards, you’ll also be entered into a prize draw to win £1,000.
